The 2009 Wyvern Digital Organ
Because of the deteriation of the Bevington Organ and the weekly requirements for organ in worship, the PCC made the decision to commission the building of a bespoke Wyvern digital instrument for the church.
Our Director of Music Craig worked alongside Wyvern 'voicer' Richard Copeland to come up with a unqique specifcation that was comparable to the original Bevington organ as well as some extra stops to make use of the fine accoustics the church has. These additional voices come in the form of the pedal reeds (including a 32' contra); Swell Coropean 8 and Clarion 4, and some brighter mixtures on the Swell and Great.
