During the current Coronavirus pandemic we have had to temporarily close church buildings and not meet as a church community. We are emailing people and using social media however it is equally important to keep a sense of communion. You may find it helpful to settle down and light a candle at whatever time each of us would normally be in Christ Church with each other preparing for worship. That might be on Sundays at 10.00 or 6.30pm, on Wednesdays at 10.30am, also when we gather for Wednesday cafe or choir practice. We could then sit and pray for whoever we would normally have around us at that time and enjoy a sense of connection, and that we are all together in God whether physically or spiritually, and that he is holding us all in his hand whatever is happening and however isolated and lost we are feeling.
